The Juneja Group of Companies has been a part of the industrial scene of Kolkata for close to five decades, with five thriving businesses under its banner today. It began humbly with only one trading unit which supplied finished leather to shoe factories in and around Agra in the 1960s. Indian Tanning Industries (P) Ltd, the tannery division, came into existence in 1980 and today it is the largest tannery in the eastern region.

The Group began operations in the year 1990 and today is supplying to the biggest fashion brands in the world. JCIL also has a safety footwear division. Indotan Chemicals Ltd began in 1993 producing only basic Chrome Sulphate and now produces a range of chrome-based chemicals. Indotan made a large acquisition last year in Orissa of a modern plant producing Chrome based chemicals. Juneja Infratech started developing properties and building in 2012. Currently it has over a million sqft in development. The Group intends to add three new businesses under its banner within the next 5 years.

Juneja Infratech, another Group company is a real estate development company with the objective to be a forerunner in commercial, retail and residential real estate.
